Who we are

A New England native and lifelong admirer of old homes, I am the designer and owner of a reproduction saltbox in Connecticut and a devoted lover of character, good bones, and the beauty of imperfect perfection. By trade, I am a fashion designer; by nature, an artist; and by experience, a self-taught woodworker, having learned from watching my father, a carpenter with a dedication to craft.

For over 20 years, I’ve been creating wooden signs, specializing in historical plaques that honor and preserve the stories of the past. Every piece is meticulously handcrafted with care and made to last.

None of this would be possible without my daughter, Sam. She is the engine behind the scenes—my website guru, social media expert, customer service voice, mock-up designer, organizer, tax preparer, and the person who keeps everything running smoothly. Her creativity, patience, and talent allow me to focus on the work I love.
